No individual training sessions are organized within the Federation. The Federation conducts training for national teams across various age groups — cadets (U-15), juniors (U-17), youth (U-19), and adults (ages 19–40) — who represent Azerbaijan with honor in international arenas.
To enroll in training, applicants should contact the ABF’s regional boxing offices, as well as various clubs and sports organizations. Boxers who achieve strong results in the Azerbaijan Championships may then be selected for national teams based on the head coach’s decision.
Each category of the national teams is supported by a dedicated coaching staff. The coaches are responsible for the team’s preparation and for ensuring a high level of performance in competitions.
Non-citizens of Azerbaijan are not permitted to train with the national teams. However, they are allowed to train individually with private coaches.
Training camps are organized in various countries and cities across Azerbaijan, depending on competition schedules and the decisions of national team coaches for each age group.
Training schedules are determined based on competition requirements and the coaches’ programs. Sessions may take place twice a day or three times a week.
Training within the Federation is free of charge, as it is conducted for national team boxers. There are no fees involved. Team members are also provided with accommodation, meals, and necessary clothing and equipment.
As for clubs, training may be either paid or free, depending on their category.
