Azerbaijani International Boxing Referee Anar Babanli has successfully passed the Referee Expert examination. He achieved this milestone during the Youth Olympic Qualification Cup held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Having attended both theoretical and practical sessions at the World Boxing licensing event, Babanli successfully completed the examination. World Boxing announced that he will now be responsible for evaluating the performance of referees. This achievement marks a historic first for Azerbaijani boxing.

Anar Babanli has officiated at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as well as at two World Championships and more than ten European and Asian Championships.
