Azerbaijani boxer Nabi Isgandarov (70 kg) secured another victory at the Boxing World Cup held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. The national team member faced Murodjon Ashuraliyev of Tajikistan in the Round of 16.

Winning all three rounds, Isgandarov claimed a dominant 5:0 victory (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 29:28). He will face Farux Tokhtassunov of Kazakhstan tomorrow in the quarterfinals.

It should be noted that Isgandarov became the fourth Azerbaijani boxer to reach the quarterfinal stage of the World Cup. Another member of the national team will step into the ring later today to fight for a place in the next round.
