The Boxing World Cup among men and women will begin on April 20 in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. The seven-day tournament will also feature the Azerbaijani national team.

Head coach of the men’s national team Ravshan Khodjayev will field Subhan Mamedov (50 kg), Zidan Hunbatov (55 kg), Mahammadali Ashiraliyev (60 kg), Nabi Isgandarov (70 kg), Saidjamshid Jafarov (75 kg), and Mahammad Abdullayev (+90 kg) at the ranking tournament.

Head coach of the women’s national team Ilkin Agayev will rely on Zeynab Rahimova (54 kg) and Emili Rzayeva (65 kg) during the competition.

It should be noted that the draw for the World Cup will take place on April 19.
