Weigh-in and Face-to-Face Ceremony Held Ahead of IBA Champions' Night

The official weigh-in and face-to-face ceremony for the boxers competing at the IBA Champions' Night took place ahead of the event. Held near the Maiden Tower in Baku's historic Icherisheher (Old City), the ceremony saw all participants successfully make weight.

Following the weigh-in, the boxers came face to face, drawing enthusiastic applause from the fans in attendance.

IBA Champions' Night, featuring some of the world's strongest boxers, will take place on July 10 at Sea Breeze Resort. Representing Azerbaijan, Subhan Mamedov (47.6 kg) will face Richard Gardla (Philippines), Tayfur Aliyev (60 kg) will take on Khurshidbek Rasuljonov (Uzbekistan), Sarkhan Aliyev (70 kg) will meet Nurtas Azhbenov (Kazakhstan), Nabi Isgandarov (70 kg) will compete against Hikmat Garayev (Russia), and Saidjamshid Jafarov (72.6 kg) will square off with Nikolay Veselov (Belarus). Each of the Azerbaijani boxers' bouts will consist of six rounds.

In another bout, Cheerav Ashalayev (Russia, 76.2 kg) will face Mikhail Dolgolevets (Belarus) in an eight-round contest.

IBA Champions' Night is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.
