The international boxing tournament in Batumi, Georgia, gets underway today. The five-day competition will feature Azerbaijan’s men’s national boxing team.

Under the guidance of coach Elbrus Rzayev, the Azerbaijani squad will be represented by Bilalhabashi Nazarov (50 kg), Taghi Nasibov and Tayfur Aliyev (both 60 kg), Ali Abdullayev (65 kg), Abbasgulu Shadlinski (75 kg), and Kenan Najafov (+90 kg).

Lachin Bakhish will represent Azerbaijan as a referee at the tournament.
