An international boxing tournament for schoolboys (U-15) was held in the Korgalzhyn District of the Akmola Region, Kazakhstan. The tournament brought together athletes from 5 countries. The Azerbaijan national team was represented by two boxers, both of whom claimed the top spot on the podium.

Our boxers – Sarkhan Hagverdiyev (70 kg) and Teymur Tanriverdiyev (+70 kg) – defeated all their opponents to win gold medals. Facing local boxers in the finals, both Azerbaijani representatives demonstrated complete dominance and secured victories before the final bell.

The team’s coach, Etibar Abdullayev, was named the Best Coach of the tournament.
