On June 10, the World Nations Cup among youth boxers will start in Vrbas, Serbia. Azerbaijan’s national team will also compete in the traditional international tournament.

The head coach of our U-17 team, Vagif Kazimov, together with coaches Teymur Mammadov and Orkhan Jabiev, will rely on Aydin Shahbazov, Hasrat Mammadov (both 46 kg), Nihat Mammadli (48 kg), Rustam Nasibov (50 kg), Ismayil Nasirzade (52 kg), Eljan Musazade (54 kg), Ali Jamalzade (57 kg), Ali Abasli (60 kg), Vakil Gurbanov (63 kg), Hidayat Mammadov (70 kg), Yusif Agakishiyev (75 kg), Shukar Aliyev (80 kg) and Mehran Rasulov (+80 kg) in Vrbas.

The national team, which departed today, will return to Baku on June 15. The delegation will be led by Nagi Safarov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation.

The final bouts of the tournament will take place on June 14. Azerbaijan will also be represented at the event by referee Farhad Rahmanov.
