The semi-final bouts of the World Boxing Cup in Guiyang, China, have concluded. One member of the Azerbaijan national team has secured a place in the final of the ranking tournament.

Saidjamshid Jafarov (75 kg) produced a dominant performance against Italy's Gabriel Guidi Rontani in the semi-finals, winning all three rounds. He claimed a 4:1 victory (28:29, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 29:28) and advanced to the final, where he will face Rami Kiwan of Bulgaria tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Murad Allahverdiyev (80 kg) and Alfonso Dominguez (90 kg) concluded their World Boxing Cup campaign with bronze medals.
