Competing in the 55 kg weight category, Amin Mammadzada faced Samandar Olimov (Uzbekistan) in his second bout. The Azerbaijani boxer claimed a 4:1 victory (29:28, 29:28, 28:29, 29:28, 30:27) to advance to the quarterfinals, where he will meet Nikil Nikil (India).
