The regional championship among schoolboy boxers (U-15) will begin today in Lankaran. The first competition of the year, organized to promote and develop boxing in cities, districts, settlements, and villages, as well as to identify promising athletes, will be held at the Lankaran Olympic Sports Complex.

Over the course of four days, 200 boxers representing 38 teams will test their strength. Athletes who stand out across 18 weight categories will qualify for the final stage of the championship, which will take place in Shamakhi.

It should be noted that the next regional championship will be organized in Sheki.
